We know what happens to today when it becomes yesterday....

I decided that I was going to wake up at 5:30 in order to try to be tired enough to sleep on the plane tonight. Of course, just like Christmas or the first day of school, even as an adult, it was hard to fall asleep. But I managed to wake up by 6:00.

Yesterday, my Edinburgh host sent directions to the apartment I'll be staying at. The directions were interesting. "Its about the 7th bus stop from when you get on - Get off at Stopname. Cross the street, turn left. "  We'll see how that works or if I'll just resort to Google.

My Dad drove me to the airport and before that we stopped at the Cracker Barrel. I figure it's the most American thing I can do before I go to Europe.

At CVG, everything went super smoothly. Although me and another person tried to go underneath the line barriers because it was wrapped around with no one in line. We, understandably were yelled at. The overhead speaker is broken so when it emits sound, it repeats faintly until it cannot be heard any longer. So I hear "The time is 12:30pm...12:30pm... 30pm..." It's kinda creepy and makes me think of the Langoliers. Actually, pretty much every time I fly I think of the Langoliers.

Unfortunately, I have enough homework due to make it impossible to be bored at the airports.

I finished my capstone proposal in Atlanta, which was also pretty easy to navigate, fortunately. And apparently flights still exist where they feed you dinner and breakfast?? Who knew.

I suppose the next entry will be tomorrow so I will finish this one up. Thanks for reading Day 1.

I made it.

Some days out.
